Sixteen years in- still in awe of the stories we get to tell.

For over 16 years, we’ve been welcomed into your beautiful, messy, and joy-filled lives: quiet mornings bathed in golden light, sun-warmed fields at dusk, barefoot days along the Oregon coast, and all the small, tender moments in between that hold the true heart of your story.


Our work is more than pictures- it’s a quiet honoring of your unique journey, told with honesty and care. Every family, every wildly-in-love couple, every soul deserves to be deeply seen and gently celebrated, just as they are-with all the raw, real, and tender love life brings.

Since 2007, photography has been woven into our story— from our first film cameras to life now with our two boys.

Our Journey

From a camera store meeting to a life of storytelling and connection.

We met in 2007 as two young adults working behind the counter of a local camera store in the Midwest. What began as a shared creative spark grew into something much bigger-a life, a family, and a business rooted in connection, creativity, and the everyday magic around us.


From 2009 onward, we have photographed about 25 weddings a year in the Midwest, learning how to tell stories through every moment.


After moving to the Portland, Oregon metro area in 2015, we welcomed our wild boys, Scout and Raven, who show us how to see the world in new ways.


Since then, we’ve been honored to capture stories of all kinds-families, small businesses, couples wildly in love, and everything in between-helping each one feel truly seen and celebrated.

Why We Focus on Intentional Storytelling

Honoring the heart of the moments that matter

Over the years, we’ve offered a range of session types-from quick mini sessions to full lifestyle storytelling experiences. While the shorter sessions can be lighthearted and accessible, they often don’t allow enough time to capture those layered moments: the laughter, the little gestures, and the natural flow of your story unfolding.


That’s why we focus on intentional sessions-ones that give us room to slow down, connect, and create images you’ll return to again and again. Images that hold the feeling, not just the look.


We believe in photographs that live beyond screens-images meant to be held, shared, and treasured in albums and on walls for generations.

This work takes time, heart, and intention - qualities reflected in our updated pricing, which allows us to pour everything we have into each session and every image we create.


At the same time, we believe that storytelling should be accessible to all. That’s why we offer occasional minis, flexible payment plans, and referral credits - so whether you’re a returning friend or discovering us for the first time, there’s always a way to experience photography that feels right for you.
