A family legacy, fifty-one years in the making.

Fifty-one years isn’t just a number - it’s more than 18,000 mornings and evenings spent side by side. It’s learning to adapt, celebrating wins both big and small, and finding joy in the everyday. It’s showing up for each other, even when it’s hard, and choosing each other again and again.


On a warm July morning at Rood Bridge Park in Hillsboro, Oregon, Maggi & Gary gathered with their loved ones to honor this incredible milestone. Their laughter carried through the trees, their hands still finding one another after decades, and the story of their life together shone in the faces of their children and grandchildren.

A Family Celebration


This wasn’t just an anniversary - it was a beautiful chapter in a family’s unfolding story. Maggi & Gary celebrated alongside Gary’s sister and brother-in-law, who were also marking their own milestone. Surrounded by kids, grand kids, and extended family, it was a true gathering of generations.


We documented it all - large family portraits filled with laughter, and smaller breakdowns that captured each family individually: children and grandchildren sharing giggles, parents guiding little ones, siblings joking together, and Gary’s sister and her husband beaming on their own special day. Every embrace and shared smile added to the story of this joyful gathering.

Why We Do What We Do



Moments like these don’t last forever. Families grow, children get older, loved ones move away - but photographs hold the story close. When we look through the lens, it’s not just about creating a pretty picture; it’s about capturing the history, the bonds, and the deep love that make a family what it is.


At this session, it was the little things that stood out: grandchildren’s laughter echoing through the park, playful and silly moments, and the way Maggi leaned into Gary as he made her laugh, and these are the moments that live on in memory and heart.

Fifty-one years of marriage is a rare and beautiful gift. Documenting Maggi & Gary’s milestone was such an honor - a reminder of why we do what we do and the power of preserving love through photographs.
